He has attended four schools: Kaiserslautern American High School (KAHS 1991), Ohio University (OU 1996), Ashland University (2002), St. Helens (Elementary) His education background includes: Computer Science, Aviation, Business, Communications, ROTC, He is currently active in scouting, earning his eagle badge in 1991, and has been involved with these Boy Scout Units: Troop 232, Troop 156, Troop 329 (Three Rivers District, Transatlantic Council), Troop 13 (Licking District, Simon Kenton Council) Eric is also active in community activities, including: Boy Scouts (BSA), Bass Run Rail Riders (BRRR, traincarts, speeders, motorcars, etc.) Eric is also an advocate of Gun Safety and Gun Rights. He is a certified NRA instructor and co-runs a business called FG Firearms which offers firearms safety and Ohio CCW training in Newark, Ohio.
