CURRENT JOB

I currently work for Amazon in Seattle, Washingon as a System Engineer.  My main tasks are to ensure Amazon's website stays up and running from the webserver perspective and to design, build and support tools to automate our routine tasks.  I'm part of a 12 member team that is spread across 2 shifts in Dublin and Seattle.  I think it pretty awesome that I can say I'm responsible for one of the largest websites in the world!  Put simply, if the website is down it's either my fault or I'm working on fixing the issue.  If the website is up, then I've done my job!
