Ok, I know the drawing is a little crude, but you get the idea. The
width of the bus is about 7 feet, the height of the bus is about 6 feet, and
the interior length of the bus is about 30 feet (including the drivers area).
NOT TO SCALE!
A few things that could be different if you are using this for a true
motor home.
First, the tables don't need to be a long as they are. They
are currently 35 inches wide and 42 inches long. We did this because we were
lazy and din't want to re-drill holes to mount the original bus seats.
Second, you can make it so the tables lay down at the seat level and you
will have a nice sleeping area there.
If you elevate the couch in the back (and don't put the futon in it), you
will be able to pull out the couch and sleep on it. Right now, it will hit
the heater unit.
Also, dealing with the tables, it most likely is not necessary to be able
to seat eight people. Four will probably do. If more people do need to
eat, they can sit on the couch.
Keep in mind you can build storage compartments under the seats, couches
(if they don't pull out) and places like that.
