I was born on June 20, 1973 in Kettering, Ohio but
lived in Beavercreek, Ohio from 1973-1983,
attending St. Helen's elementary school through fourth grade. I first
started playing the trombone at St. Helen's and also was an alter server in
fourth grade.

We moved to Eulenbis, Germany (just outside Kaiserslautern/Ramstein) and stayed
there from 1983-1991. I attended elementary, junior high, and high school at
an American school, having fun working on computers, making Eagle Scout,
adventuring on a 3 week outdoor adventure camp in the Alps, skiing every
chance I could get, and touring 85% of the nations of Europe, all on my
parents pocket book. I graduated from KAHS in 1991.

I left Germany to go to school at Ohio University, majoring in Communication
Systems Management, with a minor in Computer Science and emphasis in Aviation.
I also got a degree in partying that I have not been able to put to good use
yet. It took me an extra year of school (including many summers) to graduate
because I was taking classes I enjoyed rather than what was required for
graduation. I spent one summer in New Hampshire as a camp counselor and toured
much of the North Eastern US that summer.
