| Somehow I became interested in scuba diving around 2001. I
think it might have been the availability of scuba trips on the cruses that my
wife and I go on every year. I tried getting friends to take the classes
with me, but for some reason the timing never worked out.
Finally, in 2008 I was talking to 2 friends about it and everyone showed interest. One wanted to wait until January or so of the following year and they other wanted to wait a month or two. By then it would be cold, so i just said screw it, I'm going. So, off to Discover Diving I went on a Tuesday to see what they had for classes and the very next day I was in the pool with scuba gear on. Where to next with the scuba skills? Well, I'll dive a few local places to build on my skills. I'll also work on additional certifications to improve my knowledge. And of course, I'll have to do a few diving adventures on the cruises my wife and I go on. |
